Get ready to be pretty goddayum excited about the The Counsellor, the latest film from the genius director of Blade Runner, Alien and Gladiator – Mr Ridley Scott.
The teaser trailer has just hit our internet screens and, with a screenplay by Pulitzer prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy, The Counsellor looks like it can (hopefully) only be a winner.
The film tells the tale of the Counsellor (played by our very own son of Eire, Michael Fassbender) a lawyer who finds himself out of his depth after getting involved in the drug-trafficking business. Say no to drugs Michael.
Although it’s only 44 seconds long, the teaser manages to ram in a lot of very, very cool looking stuff – Someone clearly owns a pet cheetah, a poor motorbike rider looks like he’s in for the ol’ cheese-wire-across-the-road trick, Cameron Diaz mounts a car seductively and IT’S GOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAST EVER ASSEMBLED.
Just look at them and then look at your own ugly face in the mirror and feel inadequate because The Counsellor stars Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt.
Sweet Jaysus in heaven.
