Your Thursday evening movies on TV menu has arrived!

Without further ado, here is your full list of the movies on TV tonight:

The Addams Family – FilmFour – 7pm

The perfectly cast Raul Julia, Angelica Huston, Christina Ricci and Christopher Lloyd star in this very funny comedy.

The Shawshank Redemption – BBC Four – 9pm

Quite literally one of the best movies ever made.

The Living Daylights – ITV4 – 9pm

Timothy Dalton’s first outing as 007 sees him take on an arms dealer to stop World War III. A very good Bond movie.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle – FilmFour – 9pm

The sequel was nowhere near as good as the original, but Julianne Moore is having a ball as a bonkers villain.

War – TCM – 9pm

Jet Li and Jason Statham headline this very bad action thriller.

Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool – BBC Four – 11.15pm

A famous film star (Annette Bening) finds love with a younger man (Jamie Bell) and looks to start settling down, only for her life to be turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis. A very good romantic drama.

Behind Enemy Lines – ITV4 – 11.45pm

Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman star in the military action thriller, that is actually one of the biggest ever box office hits made by an Irish filmmaker.

Red Heat – FilmFour – 11.45pm

A Russian cop (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is forced to team up with an American detective (Jim Belushi) in order to take down a dangerous criminal. Highly entertaining action thriller.

Monsters and Men – FilmFour – 1.55am

A powerful drama centring around the death of a black man at the hands of police officers, and the entire incident being filmed by a bystander, causing uproar in the local community.

Girls Trip – Channel 4 – 2am

Our pick for the best of the movies on TV tonight is this properly hilarious comedy which sees four best friends – Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish, Regina Hall – head to New Orleans for a music festival and rebuild their relationships with each other. But all the partying, alcohol, drugs and men does is bring some long-standing resentments to the surface. That doesn’t sound very funny, admittedly, but trust us, it is VERY funny. Set your DVR or whatever to record and enjoy it over the weekend!
