Better Call Saul executive producer Peter Gould has said that characters, dead or alive, from Breaking Bad could appear in the eagerly awaited new show.

Already approved for a second series before the first has even been broadcast Better Call Saul might the most popular show nobody has ever seen. Described as a prequel to Breaking Bad, anticipation for the show is already at fever pitch and we expect it will go up a few more notches after this interview executive producer Pater Gould gave to the New York Daily News.

“One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad. That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad.”

Now, that doesn’t mean that anyone who was killed on the show, which covers A LOT of characters, will come back but it certainly puts the hope in our hearts.

Sadly we have no more details that that but considering how much the cast loved the original, we’re sure the big names would be more than happy to make a cameo appearance, or maybe more, if required.

Gould went on to speak a little more about the show.

“We want to make a show that stands on it own, is its own story and is a brand extension,” he said.

“We think we have a story that is worth making. … We could never dream of the kind of success that Breaking Bad had and the love we got from the fans. But (with Saul) at a certain point you have to do the best job you can and tell the best story that entertains you, get a good response and hope people like it.”

Early 2015, the best date we have for the show to air, can’t come soon enough.
