Great news: A date has been set for the third series of Moone Boy

Hooray!

Conor Heneghan

And one very high-profile star will be making a cameo appearance.

There are an awful lot of shows we’re looking forward to seeing in 2015 – House of Cards, Game of Thrones etc. – and Chris O’Dowd’s Moone Boy is certainly up there with the best of them.

Sky One have today announced that the show will return for a third six-part series on March 2, when O’Dowd and company will be joined by some high-profile names, including the one and only Terry Wogan.

Wogan will play the host of a home video show that Martin and Padraic do their best to make an appearance on with a hilarious home-made clip.

The new series, meanwhile, will also feature the likes of Sharon Horgan (Psychobitches), John Sessions (Mr Selfridge, Gangs of New York) and Bronagh Gallagher (The Commitments, Pulp Fiction).

We can’t wait.
