Great news because Jeff Goldblum will be returning for Jurassic World 2

Paul Moore

Life found a way.

Hold on to your butts because the sequel to Jurassic World is after getting a piece of casting news that’s potentially greater than the recent announcement that the original T-Rex will be returning.

In news that will delight anyone that’s a fan of the originals series, Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm, the beloved mathematician that somehow managed to survive the first two films.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the follow-up, which will be directed by directed by the incredibly talented J.A. Bayona (The Orphanage and A Monster Calls)

Given that Jurassic World earned $1.67 billion worldwide in 2015 and is the fourth-highest-grossing film in history, it’s safe to say that the sequel is going to be even bigger than the Indominus Rex.

Goldblum fans will already know that he’s the greatest person alive, but it’s clear that the star of The Fly and The Grand Budapest Hotel is on a mission to make blockbuster films infinitely better..

He recently reprised his role as David in Independence Day: Resurgence and will be seen this summer in Thor: Ragnarok.

The sequel to Jurassic World is slated for release on June 22, 2018.

If anyone isn’t excited by the news that Dr Malcolm will be returning to the land of dinosaurs, we have one thing to say.
