Farrell gets set to make his True Detective debut this summer.
Sky Atlantic has finally announced the European date for the second series of True Detective and we can reveal that it will air on June 22, just one day after it airs in the US on HBO.

At least this means we’ll only have to avoid spoilers for roughly 24-hours, before we get a chance to watch it on this side of the Atlantic.
Colin Farrell will play the role of Ray Velcoro, who, according to ScreenCrush, is a damaged, corrupt and anger-managing coke-head detective, while Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams will also play leading roles the new series.
