Here’s the Tuesday morning good news you’ve been waiting for; The Inbetweeners 2 has just been given an official release date of August 6th 2014. Although the Film 4 tweet below mentions the UK market specifically, Irish cinemas have the exact same release date 99.9999999999999999999999999% of the time, so it’s safe to say that we can all start counting down the days now.

Will, Jay, Neil and Simon are filming in Australia at the minute so we can undoubtedly expect plenty of mature jokes to do with ‘Down Under’, the ‘Australian Bush’ and ‘Alf Stewart’s diner’s on fire.’ We’re not sure what that last one means either but we’re pretty sure it’s sex-related.
