“The most incredible answer we’ve ever had on countdown”.
Many of us have spent the afternoon shouting at the television watching Countdown, and screaming four letter words at the telly. But we really come to life for the numbers round of the game, as we’re convinced if things had just gone a little differently, we could be the equal of Rachel Riley in the maths stakes.
But we think this guy below is, in a clip that Channel 4 shared again recently, this man had 30 seconds to work out a sequence of calculations using the six numbers he was given.. The aim was to get 952.
He was to use 25, 50, 75, 100, 3, and 6.

Here’s how this barely human math genius did it:
100 + 6 = 106
106 x 3 = 318
318 x 75 = 23,850
23,850-50 =23,800
23,800/25
=
952
