Gus Fring actually showed up at the real life version of Los Pollos Hermanos

Paul Moore

Gus Fring

Heaven for Breaking Bad fans.

Much like his face after that faithful encounter with Hector Salamanca’s wheelchair, there are two very different sides to one of Breaking Bad’s most iconic characters, Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito).

While working at Los Pollos Hermanos, Fring was more than happy to get his hands dirty with the day-to-day running of New Mexico’s most infamous restaurant.

It wasn’t uncommon to see Gus waiting on tables, smiling with customers or offering some friendly advice to his employees. See, he’s a great boss.

That being said, we all know what goes on in the Los Pollos Hermanos factories, loading docks and stockrooms. A few weeks ago, we told you that a real life version of the world’s biggest meth distributor would be making an appearance at SXSW Festival but we didn’t think that the iconic owner would be making an appearance.

Those in attendance were already excited to see Saul Goodman himself (Bob Odenkirk) dropping by, but they got more than they bargained for when Walter White’s biggest adversary also dropped in.

Maybe he was checking up on his old empire?

Having seen these snaps, we really want a version of Los Pollos Hermanos to open over here. Tread lightly.
