#TRAILERCHEST: The final, insanely tense, incredibly scary Halloween trailer is here

“I always hoped he would escape. So I could kill him.”

Forty years since the original, it looks like we’re getting the big goodbye to the Halloween series this year.

Plot’s it all about?: It’s been four decades since the first movie came out, and in the new movie, it has also been forty years since Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) survived the night that Michael Myers went on his killing spree.

All these years later, and Michael Myers has escaped the mental institution, and is looking to get revenge on the remainder of his family.

However, Laurie is totally ready for him to come back, and has been preparing for this day. Her neighbours, however, are not prepared, which means a lot of them will not be surviving the night.

Released in cinemas just in time for Halloween this year, this latest trailer kicks off with a long, tense scene with Michael arriving in the sleepy little road, and beginning his new onslaught.

If the rest of the movie can maintain this level of horror, then we could be looking at one of the year’s best scary movies!

Cast: Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, Omar J Dorsey, Nick Castle, Miles Robbins, Rhian Rees.

Irish release date: Friday 19 October

Enjoy!
