WATCH: Hardy Bucks are coming back to the telly, and this time they mean business

Michael Lanigan

“Let’s get this show on the road.”

Mayo’s finest misfits are returning to our screens, as the fourth season of Hardy Bucks airs this March. By the looks of the new trailer, we’re in for a mad one.

Three years since the show’s third season, the gang is back and they’re getting with the times… sort of.

Eddie Durkan and his girlfriend Ciara are thinking about getting into the swingers scene, while Frenchtoast, Salmon, Buzz and Cowboy, aka the “Greatest Minds in Castletown” are thinking about starting their own tech start-up: The Virtual Pub.

Meanwhile, the Viper’s returning with his own ingenious scheme, because like the lads, he’s determined to set up his own business too. Only he’s not bothering with the whole tech scene. Instead, he’s becoming an ice-cream man… or “hash cream man” depending on the customer’s needs.

Off the screen, the gang is also set to hit the road with their new live theatrical show, ‘Appetite for the Session’, which will be in Vicar Street on 22 April.

The new Hardy Bucks series is on RTÉ2 on 22 March at 10.35pm, but if you can’t wait that long, the first episode will be available on RTÉ Player at 8pm on 20 March.
