Harry Potter fans can have Christmas dinner at Hogwarts this year

Keeley Ryan

Tis almost the season, after all.

OK, well, not really. Hallowe’en is still miles away – and it definitely feels awfully early to be thinking about anything Christmas-y yet.

However, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour has the perfect holiday experience that is just too magical not to share.

Harry Potter fans from across the globe will be able to have a Christmas feast inside The Great Hall as part of the studio tour’s enchanting holiday makeover.

From November 16 until January 26, 2020, visitors will be able to experience Christmas in the Wizarding World, which features a gorgeous Harry Potter-themed winter wonderland.

The festive transformation is part of Hogwarts in the Snow, and will all kick off in the Great Hall – where it will be decorated just as it was for the Yule Ball, including snow-covered Christmas trees, icicles and a spell-binding orchestra.

Some other areas on the tour, including the Gryffindor Common Room and the Boys’ Dormitory, will be getting in the holiday spirit.

If that wasn’t magical enough, the holiday experience will feature the return of the Dinner in the Great Hall.

On 9, 10, and 11 December, Harry Potter fans will be able to enjoy drinks and canapés, before having a two-course Christmas dinner.

Guests will have the chance to dine among the iconic house tables, surrounded by Christmas trees with golden baubles and witches on mini broomsticks.

And, after strolling through a bit of the studio tour, a variety of holiday-inspired dessert bowls will be served up on Platform 9 3/4 – right beside the original Hogwarts Express.

Butterbeer will be available in the backlot café before you explore our newest expansion, Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

Discover the magic of Hogwarts in the Snow as the breathtaking castle model is covered in a layer of filmmaking snow especially for the festive season. The evening will conclude with music and dancing, with a bar provided for those who wish to purchase additional drinks.

But if you’ve got your heart set on celebrating Christmas at Hogwarts, you’ll want to be fast – we reckon these are going to sell out pretty quickly.

Tickets for Hogwarts in the Snow are available to buy now. Tickets for Dinner in the Great Hall will be available from 17 September.
