Get stuck into one of these.
Things are getting fairly hectic in Ireland this week.
So it might not hurt to zone out and watch a movie.
Here’s what we’re dealing with.
Kingsman: The Secret Service – 9pm – Film4
A very decent spy/comedy film with a cast that really has no right to be so filled with stars. Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth, Michael Caine and Taron Egerton all shine.
Non-Stop – 9pm – More4Â
A fairly star-studded cast (Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Lupita Nyong’o), but a movie that will definitely not go down as one of Neeson’s better flicks.
Double Team – 9pm – TCM
An absolutely bizarre action comedy film, with an even more bizarre cast. Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dennis Rodman (yes, that Dennis Rodman), and Mickey Rourke are taking down terrorists.
Those were the 90s for you…
Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief – 10pm – Sky DocumentariesÂ
A 2015 documentary, based on Lawrence Wright’s book, sheds light on the controversial religious movement of Scientology, with interviews with some of the more famous members and former members of the church. A fascinating watch.
Death Wish – 10pm – ITV4
Charles Bronson takes matters into his own hands when his wife is murdered. Exciting stuff, but not as good as Death Wish 9…
