Here’s what we have to offer on this Monday evening.

It’s a new week, and as is seemingly always the case these days, there is a lot going on.

While there may appear to be a never-ending stream of news coming your way, it would be understandable to find it all a bit overwhelming.

Why not take some time to yourself and throw on a movie?

Here’s what’s on the box on Monday:

Casablanca – 7pm – TCM

An absolute classic, that is definitely up there with the most quotable movies of all time.

“I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”

The Dukes of Hazzard – 7pm – Comedy Central

A comedy adaptation of the classic TV series, that will really take you back to 2005, if only for the cast alone (Seann William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, Willie Nelson and Jessica Simpson).

Milk – 9.30pm – TG4

Biopic of American gay rights activist Harvey Milk, whose political career led to him becoming the country’s first openly gay elected official. Sean Penn is brilliant as Milk, winning himself an Oscar in the process.

Man On Fire – 9pm – Sky One

When Denzel is on the screen, we watch. Simple.

First Blood – 10.05pm – ITV 4

Sylvester Stallone kicks ass in the first instalment of the Rambo series.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
