Here’s what World Cup games on TV today and where you can watch them

A very tasty Sunday in store.

The first Sunday of the World Cup sees tournament experts Brazil and Germany enter the fray. Germany, the holders, kick off against perennial qualifiers Mexico and Brazil will be hoping their talisman, Neymar, can help them justify their tournament favourites tag when they take on Switzerland.

Serbia qualified from Ireland’s group and they’ll be looking to show why some are tipping them as dark horses as they take on the always tricky Costa Rica.

Group E: Serbia v Costa Rica

Venue: Samara

Kick off (Irish time): 13:00

Live on: RTÉ Two (Coverage starts at 12:30), ITV (Coverage starts at 12:30)

Pundit watch: ITV have Jacqui Oatley presenting with analysis coming from Henrik Larsson, Patrice Evra and Eni Aluko. RTE will have Peter Collins and Didi Hamann on pundit duties.

Group F: Germany v Mexico

Kick off (Irish time): 16:00

Live on: RTÉ Two (continued coverage) BBC1 (coverage starts at 15:30)

Pundit watch: BBC1 have Gary Lineker in the hot-seat and he’s joined by Alan Shearer and Rio Ferdinand. Peter Collins and Didi Hamann will continue their roles from the previous match for RTE.

Pundit watch: Darragh Maloney and Richard Dunne will be on duty for RTE and ITV will have Mark Pugatch presenting in front of a pretty impressive panel of analysts such as Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Slaven Bilic and Ian Wright.
