"Have people ever thrown batteries or pennies at you?"

While some people might consider Anchorman and the journalism of the Channel 4 News Team to be below par, the gang did break some major news. For example, we were all riveted by Brian Fantana's 'Panda Watch' reports from the San Diego Zoo, and if it wasn't for Ron, we wouldn't know that squirrels can water ski. See, Veronica Corningstone may have landed an exclusive interview with Yasser Arafat, but she never finished second in a local hot dog eating contest. That's what real journalism is all about. As stated previously, Will Ferrell's most beloved character is making a return to the airwaves and to paraphrase his iconic introduction: "There was a time, a time before cable. When the local anchorman reigned supreme. When people believed everything they heard on the radio. This was an age when only men were allowed to read the news. And in San Diego, one anchorman was more man then the rest. His name was Ron Burgundy. He was like a god walking amongst mere mortals. He had a voice that could make a wolverine purr and suits so fine they made Sinatra look like a hobo. In other words, Ron Burgundy was the balls". Great Odin's raven! Burgundy is back to address the big news issues of the day. What exactly does this involve? Well, climate change is topical right now - especially with the polar vortex in the US - so that's going to be discussed. Want to know if chickens can get epilepsy? How does Ron deal with the haters? What if the world's most beloved anchorman was launched from space? All the answers will be revealed on 7 February when The Ron Burgundy Podcast airs on iHeartRadio. Take a look at the madness that's in store. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u_jcTy3JHM Clip via iHeartRadio
