Adam Sandler’s new Netflix comedy is called Do-Over, and given the Ridiculous Six reviews we’re less than excited about it.
However.
His character in the movie is called Max Kessler, which also happens to be the name of an accountant from New York who looks exactly like… Adam Sandler.
As if the whole thing wasn’t meta enough, Sandler came across Kessler’s post on Reddit and they ended up getting together for the film’s premiere in Los Angeles.
Here’s how it all started…
On the Imgur post, the real life Kessler wrote: “The name of Adam Sandler’s character in his new movie, “The Do-Over” is Max Kessler. My name is Max Kessler. Oh yeah, and I look just like him.”

Well, Max could.
