It could be argued that the biggest celebrities in the jungle this year - or any year - are actually Ant and Dec. The pair are universally loved and respected as the most accomplished and charming entertainers in the country. In fact you'd be hard pressed to find anyone with a bad word to say about them.
Alas the same cannot be said of certain contestants on the show this time round. Viewers have not been impressed with the treatment of radio host Iain Lee by other members of the camp, namely Dennis Wise, Amir Khan and Jamie Lomas. Khan in particular is seen as the ringleader of the exclusionary clique.
In fact Amir blatantly told Iain that he'd 'fucked things up' when he joined the show, and Iain seemed understandably downcast upon hearing this.
Ant and Dec are nominally meant to be neutral observers on the show, but the hosting pair took turns to criticise Khan, calling him an "idiot" for his lack of geography knowledge in a task alongside Jamie, and listing the boxer's failings in a 25 second rant about things 'he wouldn't like to be reminded of'.
Fans of the show were mostly welcoming of the approach, but others questioned whether their 'slagging off' of Amir was particularly professional...
