This is like a game of hot potato…

Here’s the lowdown, there’s definitely going to be a movie about Apple founder Steve Jobs but the making of the big screen production has been more complicated than getting a parking permit in a city in Ireland.

Gone Girl’s David Fincher was supposed to direct but he pulled out and now Danny Boyle is at the helm. Leonardo Di Caprio and Christian Bale both committed to playing the lead role of Steve Jobs at various points but they also pulled out so they whole thing was left a bit up in the air.

However, the latest reports from Hollywood are that Irish actor Michael Fassbender has signed up to play Jobs. The Kerryman is currently working on X-Men but he’s reportedly eager to juggle his schedule to get involved in the project.

Seth Rogen is definitely on board as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and shooting is supposed to start before the end of the year. It’s one to keep an eye on.
