It’s been a rough few days for Maxwell after he choked on a piece of camel meat.
Things are getting tough in the jungle in Australia as on Saturday night’s show, Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell broke down in tears to his campmates.
The Dubliner was speaking with James Haskell, the new camp leader, and Jacqueline Jossa and discussed how the tiredness has just hit him.
“I honestly thought that I was gonna walk out, but I haven’t, when you’re tired, you just say ‘have I done the right thing,'” Maxwell said.
He said he was feeling overwhelmed by it all.
“You’d never leave, I can tell that, you’re just tired,” Jossa said.
As Maxwell broke into tears started to cry, Haskell spoke to him and said everyone has a bad day.
Jossa explained that he’s spent six days sleeping on the floor and that he was just worn out by it all.
“You’re an important part of the group and we need you,” Haskell said before promising to keep an eye on him.
“You’re brilliant, you bring so much energy and laughter.”
