Brian McFadden fancies himself as Chris Evans' replacement on Top Gear
Driving without wings?
Chris Evans has responded to Top Gear's suffering ratings by getting the hell out of there, leaving a vacancy that plenty in the TV business will jump at the chance to fill.
One of those jumpers is former Westlife singer and Irish pop-star Brian McFadden, who has made it known that he'd happily take the driver's seat.
McFadden, 36, sent a few tweets out to the Top Gear account letting them know he's ready to take their call.
Dear @BBC_TopGear I will happily drive the best cars in the world and get paid for it! AND be pretty happy about it!

He's also undertaken a vow not to pull a Clarkson on it.
And @BBC_TopGear I promise not to punch any producers or hit on anyone! Except matt le blanc. He's dreamy

We've got our fingers crossed for you Brian, especially considering your commitment to the role.
So @BBC_TopGear said they're looking for a female anchor. No problem!!! I'm very versatile. pic.twitter.com/KXQvUbQfKe
