Any Game of Thrones fans fancy a trip for an amazing photo?
Think you have what it takes to rival the Mother of Dragons and rule Westeros? Do you watch Game of Thrones and say to yourself ‘ I wish I had Jon Snow’s sword. Then I could be the King in the North…the King in the North…the King in the North (keep repeating that for about five minutes until the goosebumps go away!).
Anyways, if you ever wondered what it’s like to sit on the Iron Throne and rule the Seven Kingdoms, now’s your chance because the official Game of Thrones Iron Throne Experience has landed in Dublin and there’s a plethora of things to choose from.
If you reigned supreme in Westeros, what type of King/Queen would you be? Fancy ruling with ‘Fire and Blood’ aka the Targaryen way? Would power turn you into a tyrannical despot like Joffrey? Then again, don’t we all want to be like Jon Snow?
Game of Thrones fans can finally answer that question by taking their seat on the Iron Throne at Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Dublin from April 13th-15th of 2018, from 11am to 6pm.
Aside from this, you can choose what weapon/prop to pose with while your picture is taken. On display is the famous crown of Joffrey Baratheon (he really was a c**t), and all of the following swords; Ice (Ned Stark’s behemoth weapon and the ancestral sword of House Stark), Longclaw (Jon Snow’s iconic sword that he used to kill so many wights and enemies), Needle (Arya Stark’s devastating weapon of mass destruction), Oathkeeper (owned by both Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister) and last but not least, Dany’s dragon eggs.
Oh yes, you can now actually be the Mother of Dragons and sit on the Iron Throne.
In terms of pricing, here’s what’s on offer:
Iron Ticket €10 (Under 12’s €5): one person seated on the Iron Throne for 5 professional photos.
Gold Ticket €20 (Under 12’s €15): one person seated on Iron Throne for 9 professional photos. You can also pose with Joffrey’s crown & one of the Game of Thrones swords (Ice, Longclaw, Oathkeeper, Needle & Jaime Lannister’s, or one of three Dragon Eggs)
