So, ‘Better Call Saul’ is happening…
Good news for Breaking Bad fans as AMC and Sony Pictures have agreed a licensing deal for a spinoff featuring everyone’s favourite criminal lawyer (emphasis on criminal) Saul Goodman.
According to Deadline.com, the spinoff has been in the works for months at this stage and it’s going to be “a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer”.
Apparently, the hour-long spin-off series won’t be half as dark as Breaking Bad and it will include quite a bit of comic relief thanks to Bob Odenkirk’s (Saul) strong comedy background.
No word yet as to when we can expect the show, but seeing as Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and series writer-producer Peter Gould are on board, it should be class.
