They have revealed the date that the show will return.
ITV have today confirmed that Saturday Night Takeaway will be returning to TV screens, with Declan Donnelly presenting the show alone for the first time ever.
The decision has been made despite suggestions it would be cancelled following the network's decision to replace the show with The Voice UK this coming Saturday.
The show will be finishing off its current series run with Dec at the helm alone while Ant McPartlin returns to rehab following his arrest on suspicion of drink-driving on Sunday.
The next episode will air on 31 March and the live series finale, which is to be filmed in Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, will go ahead as planned.
Dec has released a heartfelt twitter message revealing that the close-knit pair felt "that they owed it to the fans to complete the series".
