A brilliantly dark and twisty thriller movie is on TV tonight

From the writer of Basic Instinct, the film stars two A-listers.

"As the trial develops, she is kept guessing right to the very last minute as to whether Jack is an innocent man or a cunning, manipulative murderer," the plot synopsis adds.

Jagged Edge's script was penned by Joe Eszterhas, the same writer as later cult classics Basic Instinct and Showgirls.

Thanks to its dark, twisty story and great performances, the 1985 film was a massive hit, grossing four times its budget at the box office.

The movie also garnered an Oscar nomination in the supporting actor category for Robert Loggia, who plays Teddy's private detective friend.

Jagged Edge is airing on TV tonight/tomorrow morning at 1.15am on the channel Legend.

The legal thriller is also available to rent on Apple TV, Google Play, Prime Video and the Sky Store.
