James Bond 25 looking at a very interesting choice for the series’ next villain

Carl Kinsella

James Bond 25

It would be a far cry from his most recent role.

When it comes to speculation around James Bond movies, most of the discussion centres on who will replace Daniel Craig as the next 007. Tom Hiddlestone, Idris Elba and many more have been touted as possible recruits to fill Bond’s stylish shoes.

But today, the speculation is surrounding who is set to appear as the next Bond villain.

Variety has reported that the franchise is looking at Rami Malek, who recently attracted attention for his magnificent performance as Freddie Mercury in the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic.

However, cold water has already been poured on the rumours. While Malek is a popular choice for the role, it appears that his schedule in making American sci-fi drama Mr. Robot could prevent him from being available.

It is nailed on that Daniel Craig will be playing Bond once more, and that Lea Seydoux will reprise the role of Madeleine Swann.

The production of Jamed Bond 25 has already been pretty messy. Danny Boyle was originally signed on to direct the project, but left the film in 2018 to be replaced by True Detective director Cary Fukunaga.

The movie is expected to be released by MGM on Feb. 14, 2020.
