Jamie Dornan on the The Fall, series 3: “I’d play this role for the rest of my life”

Tony Cuddihy

The world’s most handsome serial killer is back this autumn.

When we last saw Jamie Dornan’s Paul Spector, he had finally met Gillian Anderson’s DSI Stella Gibson.

Would he live or die?

Would he get his comeuppance?

What the hell was going to happen?

The 34-year-old actor has since gone on to Hollywood fame in 50 Shades of Grey but he says that he would play Spector until his dying day, as he gets on so well with the cast and the character made his name.

Looks like he lives, folks.

“They’re like family to me and I’m forever grateful for it to be a part of my life and, you know, I would play that character to my dying days if I had the opportunity,” he said.

Speaking at a press conference to promote the third series of the popular crime drama, he added, “You can expect the unexpected. There’s quite remarkable turns in the third season that I really genuinely think people won’t see coming that are hugely exciting.”
