Jared Leto wants a stand-alone movie for The Joker

Suicide Squad has absolutely blown away the Box Office, especially in North America where it has $135.1 million in ticket sales, despite mixed reviews in some quarters.

The ragtag bunch of lovable villains which contains The Joker, played by 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto, although his role in the movie is rather limited compared to what might have been.

JOE actually met some of the stars of the movie recently, including Margot Robbie who confessed her love for the Irish accent (there’s hope for us yet), and Cara Delevingne who tried her hand, reasonably successfully, at an Irish accent.

It seems that jared Leto really enjoyed playing the role of the Joker, but maybe a little too much for the creators of the movie who had to taper back some of the insanity that he brought to the table.

“I think that I brought so much to the table in every scene, it was probably more about filtering all of the insanity,” Leto told the BBC. “Because I wanted to give a lot of options, and I think there’s probably enough footage in this film for a Joker movie.”

“If I were to die tomorrow, maybe the studio would roll something out. [There’s] a rated R or a rated X performance in there somewhere.”
