Jeremy Clarkson posts a series of stroppy tweets to deny recent rider story

U ok hun?

JOE

Jeremy Clarkson has hit back at recent claims that made him out to be one of the biggest divas on the planet.

It was recently reported he once demanded a helicopter to fetch him gravy and a game of Monopoly – and ordered a Range Rover just so he ‘could look at it’ during a promo event in New Zealand.

It wasn’t a story by the Daily Mail, they just covered it. The story was first reported in the New Zealand Herald using claims made by Ed Coutts, owner of accommodation provider Waiheke Unlimited.

Coutts told the publication: “The cost was outrageous and the show’s promoters were complaining they were going broke.”

Talking of the Range Rover, he said: “It never got used. I asked what was the point and he said, ‘I just wanted to look at it.'”

But Clarkson insists he is ‘making stuff up’…

Clearly rattled, he then advised his 5.5m followers not to bother visiting the place where the story originated from – New Zealand’s Waiheke Island.

Clarkson then proceeded to tell his version of the story…why the gravy though?

And for a final dig…
