Everyone loves Anchorman. That is a scientific fact and if you disagree then you can go back to your home on Whore Island.
The 2004 comedy classic is right up there as one of Hollywood’s most quotable films and, here at JOE HQ, not a day goes by that we’re not banging on about how much of a big deal we are or dousing ourselves in our latest batch of Sex Panther.
That’s right, 60% of the time, it works every time.
Due to the film’s immense popularity, and ahead of the hugely anticipated sequel Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, JOE took to the moustachioed streets to find out some of the nation’s favourite quotes from Ron Burgundy and his Channel 4 News Team.
And yes, JOE does agree with you that the delivery of the clearly-read-off-a-piece-of-paper opening quote does deserve Oscar recognition in the upcoming 2014 Awards ceremony.
