Step Brothers sequel

Great news for Step Brothers fans.

If you’ve ever contemplated getting Randy Jackson’s autograph on a martial arts weapon, we’ve got some news that’s going to make you stand back and proclaim ‘Holy Santa Claus shit!’ at the top of your voice.

John C. Reilly aka Dale Doback aka Dragon is very interested in returning to f**k shit up on a sequel to Adam McKay’s iconic comedy, Step Brothers.

Yep, we could be stepping back into the house of learned doctors once more because during a recent interview with Good Morning America, the actor confirmed that he’s more than happy to once again ride majestic, translucent steeds, while shooting flaming arrows across the bridge of Hemdale.

Of course, Reilly also has another eagerly-anticipated film about to be released soon – Ralph Breaks the Internet – but he could be returning to his most beloved character for a Step Brothers follow-up.

“Yeah, it’s possible. It requires the cooperation of a few other people but I would love to do another one of those,” said the star of Magnolia.

As stated previously, the original plan for Step Brothers 2 was absolute gold.

Chatting with the New York Daily News, Will Ferrell mentioned that there was an idea that he and Adam McKay (director) had considered for a sequel to the beloved cult classic.

“We talked about Step Brothers and then Adam and I got sidetracked with other things.

“We had a whole story where John (C. Reilly) and I follow our parents to live in a retirement community and try to convince them that we earned the right to retire as well,” he said.

Whatever direction Step Brothers 2 takes – if it even happens –  we just want Dale to keep his drum set at “the f**king Catalina wine mixer!”

Take a look at Reilly’s interview below and Ralph Breaks the Internet looks like it’s an absolute winner too.
