This is just lovely.

John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan are both fantastic actors, and both mostly associated with their comedic works.

Reilly has been nominated for an Oscar and three Golden Globes, and his dramatic CV is filled with the likes of Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Chicago, The Aviator, Gangs Of New York, and The Hours.

Coogan has been nominated for two Oscars – writing and producing on Philomena – and his serious stuff ranges from 24 Hour Party People, to What Maisie Knew, to Marie Antionette.

However, both actors have been involved in some of the funniest projects of the last two decades or so.

JOE and The Big Reviewski‘s Rory Cashin sat down with the stars and director Jon S. Baird about their new movie Stan & Ollie, which tells the story of Laurel & Hardy on the last ever comedy tour.

Over the course of the conversation, the two actors talked about some of the impact some of their movies and TV shows have had on viewers over the years, both fully opening up about the privilege they feel for getting to bring comedy into people’s lives, and knowing that they might be brightening up countless people’s days.
