Keep an eye out for a fleeting Daniel Craig cameo in The Force Awakens

When 007 became a stormtrooper.

Even if you’ve already seen Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, you probably didn’t know that James Bond himself appears in a tiny role in JJ Abrams’ blockbuster.

Daniel Craig was outed by Simon Pegg – who also has a cameo – as having a small role as a stormtrooper.

Craig, who filmed Spectre at Pinewood Studios at the same time as The Force Awakens, initially denied having any part in the movie.

“Why would I ever both doing something like that? F***ing hell! Play an extra in another movie?” he asked.

“Talk to Simon Pegg. He obviously knows way more than I do. He’s just jealous because he’s not in Star Wars. He’s got some issue with JJ, I don’t know what the f*** it is. You need to talk to Simon about it.”

Well, it turns out that was all a ruse, and Craig does indeed have a small role – albeit, under a stormtrooper’s helmet.

We won’t tell you the scene in which he appears, though. We’re sound like that.
