Kim Cattrall’s replacement in the Sex and the City reboot has been revealed

Back in January this year, Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie), Kristin Davis (Charlotte) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) all shared the first teaser trailer for And Just Like That..., the sorta-sequel, sorta-reboot to Sex and the City. Clip via Movie Coverage However, one person who did not share the trailer was Kim Cattrall, who played fan-favourite Samantha, as Cattrall would not be involved in the rebootquel. Fans of the show were somewhat distraught by the lack of the sex-positive Samantha, who was pretty much integral to the balance and dynamics of the central foursome. However, it does appear that there is a new character joining the mix as Carrie's BFF, with The Guardian reporting that Nicole Ari Parker will be playing a documentary-maker by the name of Lisa Todd Wexley. Ari Parker has previously been seen in projects such as Empire, Remember The Titans and Boogie Nights.
