Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we’re taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Knives Out.
Plot’s it all about? How do you follow up one of the most talked about blockbusters of all time, which was also a movie that made well over a billion dollars at the box office? That is what writer/director Rian Johnson found himself facing after The Last Jedi, but before heading off to make his new original Star Wars Trilogy, he decided to call as many famous people as he possible could to take part in his darkly comedic murder mystery.
We join Daniel Craig and LaKeith Stanfield (who you might recognise from Sorry To Bother You, or Atlanta) as they investigate a murder that took place at Christoper Plummer’s 85th birthday celebrations.
But those who were there to celebrate seem to be a family of folk, all of whom absolutely hate each other, including a goodie-two-shoes-destroying performance by none-other than Captain America himself, Chris Evans!
Most of all, it looks like everyone involved is having a blast playing very much against type, which means it should be an absolute blast to watch, too.
