Here’s who’s on the Late Late and Graham Norton tonight

Settle in, there are two good shows in store tonight.

Conor Heneghan

Graham Norton

Probably the most anticipated Late Late of the season and a typically star-studded couch on Graham Norton.

The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One at 9.35 pm, with Graham kicking off an hour later at 10.35pm on BBC One.

Here’s who’s on both shows tonight.

The Late Late Show

  • Conor McGregor – You’ve probably already seen his apology for his recent use of the term ‘faggot’ from an interview recorded on Tuesday; he’ll also be talking about fatherhood, fighting Floyd Mayweather, his plans for his next bout and his expanding business interests outside the octagon.

  • Ibrahim Halawa – In his first live interview since his release from prison in Egypt, Halawa will chat to Ryan about experiencing four years behind bars, freedom and the rumours surrounding his imprisonment.
  • Nigella Lawson – Nigella will be discussing her new book on her celebrated home cooking, At My Table, which could be handy for a few recipes in the lead up to Christmas.
  • Imelda May – It’s been quite the 2017 for Imelda May, who has taken her music in a new direction with great success and got to sing our national anthem in Las Vegas in front of an audience of millions ahead of McGregor v Mayweather back in August. As well as chatting about that experience – and rubbing shoulders with Leonardo DiCaprio – she’ll also be performing on the night.
  • Kieren Fallon – One of Ireland’s most well-known jockeys, Fallon will discuss his battle with depression brought on by being associated with a crime he didn’t commit. He’ll also discuss some of his reckless behaviour throughout his career and the extraordinary physical sacrifices jockeys have to make to survive at the top.
  • The Academic – Mullingar’s finest will perform U2’s ‘In God’s Country’ from the charity album The Joshua Tree – New Roots.

The Graham Norton Show

  • Josh Gad
  • Michelle Pfeiffer
  • Kenneth Branagh
  • Judi Dench

The director (Kenneth Branagh) and stars of Murder on the Orient Express will be on to chat about the new movie.

The youngest of the four, Gad, might provide some insight into the upcoming Frozen 2, while there are bound to plenty of good yarns from the other three, all movie royalty on the back of outstanding careers.

  • St. Vincent – The acclaimed singer-songwriter will drop by to perform a tune following the release of her latest album, Masseduction, last month.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
