The weekend has landed.

Friday night means many things for many people, but you’re here to discover who will be gracing the couches on the two big talk shows this evening.

The Late Late Show and The Graham Norton Show are in full voice tonight – Friday 25 January – so let’s see who is in action, shall we?

The Late Late Show

With new album Wasteland, Baby! just around the corner, Hozier will be on hand to delve into his music, both in the form of performance and discussion.

Speaking of well-loved homegrown musicians, Something Happens man and popular broadcaster Tom Dunne will explain how a routine check-up led to life-saving surgery and subsequent struggles as he learned how to walk again.

Not enough music-related personnel for you? Rising indie-pop sensations Wild Youth will take to the stage as they drop their brand new EP.

Dancing with the Stars will be represented by Fred CookeDarren KennedyClelia Murphy and Mairéad Ronan, while fitness coach Joe Wicks stops by to promote the value of vegan meals.

All that and some direct insights into new RTÉ documentary Shooting the Darkness as photographers Alan Lewis and Crispin Rodwell highlight their work during the Troubles.

The Graham Norton Show

Over the on the BBC, Graham Norton welcomes acting royalty in Judi Dench, who discusses her role in new drama All Is True, which portrays the last days of William Shakespeare.

Dench co-stars in the film with Kenneth Branagh, who is also on the couch to chat about stepping both in front of and behind the camera.

Further acting talent is on display as Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, who broke out in the original adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, talks about her new action thriller Close.

Boxing champion Anthony Joshua will give an update on his career, while comedian Greg Davies will do his best to crack everyone up.

As for the music, Steps star Claire Richards takes to the stage to belt out new solo single ‘Wings’.
