Late Late Show line up

Taoiseach Micheál Martin will provide an update on all things Covid-19.

Having made its grand return for 2022 last week, The Late Late Show is back in full swing.

As for who will appear on this Friday’s edition?

Well, that’s why you’re here, isn’t it?

Read on…

Following fresh changes to Covid restrictions this week, Taoiseach Micheál Martin will join Ryan Tubridy to give an update on how the Government is managing the ever-changing situation.

Operation Transformation will be represented by host Kathryn Thomas and the show’s five new leaders as it returns for its 15th season amidst some notable critical debate.

Last week, leading charity Bodywhys raised concerns about Operation Transformation, arguing that the popular programme can have a negative effect on those struggling with eating disorders.

Elsewhere on Friday’s episode, a special TradFest music session will take place.

Banging the bodhrán accordingly will be some of Ireland’s finest trad musicians including Mike Hanrahan (Stockton’s Wing), Niamh Dunne (Beoga), Dara and Mick Healy (Boxing Banjo), Bridín, Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh (Altan), Séamus and Caoimhe Ui Fhlatharta, and more.

And that’s your lot, apparently.

The Late Late Show is on RTÉ One on Friday night (14 January) at 9.35pm
