Very sad news.
Max von Sydow, the Sweden-born French actor famous for his roles in The Seventh Seal and as Emperor Ming in Flash Gordon, has died at the age of 90,
His wife Catherine von Sydow announced the news on Monday.
“It is with a broken heart and with infinite sadness that we have the extreme pain of announcing the departure of Max Von Sydow on 8 March, 2020,” she said.
The actor, born Carl Adolf von Sydow in Sweden, appeared in numerous other titles including The Exorcist, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Game of Thrones.
