The Star Trek legend has passed away.
Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in Star Trek, died aged 83 this morning at his home in Los Angeles, according to the New York Times.
The actor had been suffering with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in recent times and lost his battle earlier today.
The Star Trek TV series ran from 1966 to 1969, he also starred in five Star Trek films.
