Looking for something to watch tonight? This Donald Trump versus Ireland documentary on TV3 looks unmissable

On TV3 tonight, Matt Cooper will present the first of a two-part documentary special on the election of Donald Trump and the implications it has on the world, including Ireland.

The documentary called Trump V Ireland, will air on TV3 at 10pm this evening with part two of the special at 10pm on Tuesday.

During his election campaign, Donald Trump divided opinion and his presidency has followed a similar suit. Policies such as his executive order restricting people entering the US from certain countries were widely decried. But there’s still a vast number of American’s who support the 45th President of the US and his policies.

The two-part special, presented by Matt Cooper, will look at what the Trump era means for Irish citizens living legally and illegally in the USA.

According to TV3, part one will examine the huge influence of Irish Americans in the new administration, from Vice President Mike Pence to behind the scenes gurus Steve Bannon, Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway. 

The second part of the special will look at the Trump regime and what it means for Ireland. Matt will assess the impact on our economy, which is so reliant on multi-national giants like Apple, Google, Facebook and Microsoft. He also takes a trip to Doonbeg.
