Louis Theroux is back on TV tonight with a new documentary

Carl Kinsella

We know you love Louis.

Louis Theroux has proven time and again throughout the years that he’s one of the world’s finest documentarians, and at 9pm tonight he’s back doing what he does best on BBC 2.

Tonight’s documentary is the first episode of Theroux’s latest series Dark States. Titled Heroin Town, the documentary sees Louis travel to Huntington, West Virginia — a city that stands as a stark example of the opioid drug crisis that is currently ravaging America.

The second episode, which will air at the same time next week will deal with sex trafficking in America. The final episode will deal with Milwaukee, a city coping with ever-rising gun crime and homicide rates.

Here’s the short trailer for the entire series. If you’ve missed Louis then make sure to tune in to BBC 2 at 9pm tonight.
