Just look at that spike from when Maura enters the villa.

Right. So. Love Island has drawn to a close, with Irishman Greg winning the top prize alongside Amber, who he met just over two weeks ago.

A testament to the two’s chemistry, you’d have to say.

And if you ask us, it’s only right that an Irish person was crowned victorious, because if we’re being honest, we basically carried the whole thing.

Yewande was a fan favourite from day one, Maura was undeniably the MVP of the entire thing (sorry Ovie), and Greg won the entire yoke!

And if you don’t believe us, just take a look at this graphic which displays who the most talked about contestants on Twitter were at each point during the show.

As you might imagine, the spike from when Maura came into the villa is huge. We’re sure her use of the words “fanny flutters” helped her case there.

And going into Monday night’s final, the graphic showed that Greg and Amber were the two most talked about contestants at that point.

We should have known…

The graphic was created by Olytico, an online news media and social media monitoring and analysis company.
