The Love Island production team has announced that the show will not air on Sunday night, following the death of Caroline Flack.
Flack, who was a presenter on the show until she was replaced by Laura Whitmore in 2019, was found dead in London on Saturday afternoon.
In a statement released on Sunday evening, the producers of the series announced that the show would not air on Sunday night, and that it would return on Monday.
The statement read: "Many people at ITV knew Caroline well and held her in great affection. All of us are absolutely devastated at this tragic news.
"After careful consultation between Caroline's representatives and the Love Island production team, and given how close we still are to the news of Caroline's tragic death, we have decided not to broadcast tonight's Love Island out of respect for Caroline's family."
Love Island will return on Monday night at 9pm.
