Facebook may not be up to the standards of the glory days of never-ending poke battles, multiple Farmville invitations, posting statuses and actually caring about your profile anymore but it’s still going strong.

Mark Zuckerberg or “Zucks” as his friends know him must be one of the happiest guys on the planet but there’s something chipping away at his good mood and that’s the movie The Social Network.

The film told the story of Facebook’s early days and how it grew into one of the biggest websites in the world. Jessie Eisenberg is brilliant in the lead role and it picked up three Oscars but Zucks (he’s our friend) says they most of it was made up.

“I kinda blocked that one out. It was a very interesting experience to watch a movie that was supposedly about my life. The reality is that writing code and building a product is not a glamourous enough think to make a move about. A lot of the stuff they probably had to embellish and make up.

“They just kind of made up a bunch of stuff that I found really hurtful. They made up this whole plot line about how I somehow decided to create Facebook to attract girls.

“The real story is a lot of hard work. If they were really making a movie (about how Facebook started) it would be of me sitting there coding for two hours straight.”
