Matt LeBlanc is getting back into the driver's seat for Top Gear.

The actor, who is taking over from Chris Evans as the lead presenter of the motoring show, tweeted an image of himself walking through a huge warehouse on Twitter, along with the caption "Back to work on TG". https://twitter.com/Matt_LeBlanc/status/782315556384993280 This week saw news that LeBlanc has signed a new two year deal to host Top Gear, signing a contract rumoured to be worth between £1.5 and £2 million. The Friends actor will be joined by Chris Harris and Rory Reid with "regular appearances" from Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz and The Stig for the series, which will air some time next year. Patrick Holland, BBC Two Channel Editor, said in a statement on LeBlanc's return: "I am thrilled that Matt LeBlanc is returning to Top Gear. He's a huge talent whose love of cars is infectious. I can't wait for the series to return to BBC Two next year." The new series of Top Gear will have some fierce competition as Jeremy Clarkson moves forward with his new Amazon Prime show "The Grand Tour". Reuniting with James May and Richard Hammond, The Grand Tour will see the trio travel the world doing some very bad things in some very nice cars from November 18.
