Born on 2 April 1977 (making him 41 years old today), Michael Fassbender very quickly made a name for himself as one of the best actors of his generation.
His career has spanned heart-breaking dramas to huge sci-fi horror epics and everything in between, having already worked with everyone from Spielberg to Ridley Scott to Steven Soderbergh and loads more besides.
