It may be about vampires, but it definitely doesn’t suck.

Here’s your friendly reminder that Valentine’s Day is only 4 days away.

(I know, it snuck up on me too.)

So if you need something to distract your significant other while you order flowers from your phone…

Why not watch a movie?

Here’s JOE’s top picks for the films on the telly tonight.

Made In America – Film4 – 6.50pm

A very harmless, very 90’s movie.

Murder on the Orient Express – Film4 – 9pm

Kenneth Branagh is not only an Oscar nominated filmmaker, he’s also a small French detective.

Deep Blue Sea – Turner Classic Movies – 9pm

Samuel L Jackson fights a shark. That’s all you need to know.

Torn Curtain – True Movies – 9pm

One of Alfred Hitchcock’s final films.

From Dusk Till Dawn – Sony Movie Channel – 9pm

Our top pick for tonight is an often forgotten Tarantino film that’s well worth a watch.

Tarantino himself stars in the film along with George Clooney as his brother (if you can believe it) who find themselves in a saloon where everyone is not as they seem…

They’re vampires. That’s it.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez of Sin City fame, this is a stylish horror flick that’s well worth seeing.

Fort Apache – BBC4 – 10pm

One for your dad.

Pitch Black – ITV4 – 10pm

The first outing for Vin Diesel’s iconic space criminal Richard. B. Riddick.

Aquarium of the Dead – SyFy -10pm

It’s awful. You’ll love it.

Miami Vice – Turner Classic Movies – 11.10pm

Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx star as the detective duo in this Michael Mann adaptation of the 80s cop show.
