Brendan O'Carroll's iconic comedy character Mrs. Brown is teaming up with American movie star Tyler Perry for a new film project.
Perry is best known in the states for his Madea series of films which, much like Mrs. Brown's Boys, features the comedian dressed in drag.

The collaboration follows the success of Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie in 2014. Speaking to The Sun, Perry said “The very thought of the brilliant Brendan O’Carroll and I working together has got me beyond excited. And the thought of Mrs. Brown meeting Madea... hysterical!”
While not official plans are in place just yet, the pair confirmed that they have discussed what a movie starring the two characters would look like and they are both "laughing a lot."
