You know the days when you're not actually sure what day it is? You start referring to the day as "the day after Stephen's Day" or "the day before New Year's Eve"? Yeah, those are the days when we're planted firmly on our couches and watching an entire show's box set in one sitting.

GAME OF THRONES
In hindsight, it really can't be overstated just what kind of impact Game Of Thrones had on modern culture. When it began, it was filled with a cast of mostly entirely unknowns, and was set in a genre that was considered a bit of a nerdy niche. By the time the final episode aired, every single cast member was a huge star in their own right, and every production company in the world rallied to create their own version of fantasy epic for grown-ups.

HOUSE OF THE DRAGON
Once again, hindsight is such a powerful thing. There were some raised eyebrows about this prequel series - 'How could it POSSIBLY compare to the original?' - but by the time the first season finished, there were some serious arguments to be made that it is even better than Game Of Thrones.

EUPHORIA
Zendaya headlines an incredible cast in this story of a teenage girl who is attempting to navigate high school as a recovering drug addict. With the third season set to arrive very soon, now is the time to get (re)acquainted with this very modern take on life as teenager.

SUCCESSION
Speaking of new seasons arriving soon, the fourth season of this hilariously dark family drama is also arriving very soon. As the old saying goes, absolute power corrupts absolutely, and the Roy family have all been completely corrupted by the huge amounts of power (and money) they all have access to. Watching this family tear themselves apart in order to come out on top is never less than jaw-dropping.

THE SOPRANOS
There is no one reason why this is considered to be one of the greatest shows of all time. It could be the fantastic performances by a collection of some incredible actors, led by the late, great James Gandolfini. It could be that it evokes the tone and energy of Goodfellas, one of the greatest movies of all time. It could be that you were never 100% sure what might happen next, keeping you on the edge of your seat, worried about your own favourite character in the show. It is all of these reasons, and many, many more.
S1-6 Streaming.THE WHITE LOTUS
The first season is set in Hawaii, the second season is set in Sicily. They both involve groups of misbehaving mega-rich guests at luxurious, high-end resorts. They both involve a bit of a murder mystery, as we know someone in these groups is going to die, but we don't know who, or why, or by whom. And both seasons star the unequalled Jennifer Coolidge. How many more reasons do you need to check it out??

THE STAIRCASE
Based on the unbelievable true story of the Peterson family, who were completely torn apart following the death of Kathleen (here played by Toni Collette), who her husband Michael (Colin Firth) claims died following a tragic accident. But as the investigation deepens, Michael becomes the primary suspect in her murder...

WE OWN THIS CITY
The latest gritty crime show from the creator of The Wire (legitimately one of the greatest shows ever made), We Own This City is based on the true story of the Baltimore Police Department's Gun Trace Task Force, and how it was destroyed by its own corruption.
